Luca Simone is an Italian composer, known for his intense and passionate scores to videogames, film, and TV. He recently scored the indie metroidvania game Threaded Memories, directed by Mattia Alfieri, for which he created and recorded an orchestral score that fully encompasses his varied influences, from classical European pieces to Japanese-inspired action cues. 

 

Luca is currently working on the scores to three indie short films, encompassing thriller/horror, drama and comedy genres, and several indie games. He created an epic medieval score for Twitch streamer Dario Moccia's promotional campaign for the Amazon series "The Wheel of Time".

Luca's compositional style merges experimental sounds with classical and orchestral techniques, while also combining both Western and Eastern musical influences. He began his musical journey in his teenage years as a singer in a metal band, before completing studies in Electronic Music at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatoire in the Adriatic port city of Bari, Italy, where he currently resides.
